Based on various technologies in the optoelectronic field, NIROX has designed and manufactured various families of sensors for the measurement, both in the production line and in the laboratory, of different sizes of the object being processed: from the thickness to the internal diameter. Our sensors work without contact and without interfering with the production process, offer micrometric precision and are designed to work in prohibitive conditions.

ODk: DIAMETER AND OVALITY

ODk is a family of optical micrometers which allows measuring outer diameter. Different measuring ranges are available for different market segments. The multiple axis models allow measurements of product ovality.

m-Thick: THICKNESS MEASUREMENTS

The m-Thick family of optical sensors enables the measurement of the total thickness of any transparent or semitransparent material, including coatings, both in production lines and in QA/QC laboratory. Measurements are contactless and provide micrometric accuracy.

multi-Thick: LAYERS MEASUREMENTS

The family of multi-Thick optical sensors allows you to analyze stratified materials, making it possible to measure the thickness of any transparent or semi-transparent material, including substrate coating. The sensor can operate both in laboratory and on board in production line and measures contactless offering micrometric accuracy.

OTS: THICKNESS MEASUREMENTS

OTS optical sensor has been designed for glass slimming process. This is a fundamental process in the production of mass-market electronics based on TFT/LCD and OLED displays, because it allows to reduce weight of devices such as TV and mobile phones, by reducing the encapsulating glass thickness.

OTS sensor measures directly in the slimming chamber and with micrometric precision the thickness of TFT/LCD and OLED panels.
